Statement of Faith
Clergy Credentials
Multi-Denominational & Multi-Ethnic
Thank you for your interest in Chicagoland's Ministerial Alliance. As a Fellowship, we cooperate with local Churches that sponsor applicants for License and Ordination. Applicants must be sponsored by the local Church. CMA will supply certificates and serve as the Clergy Registration Bureau.
The Clergy Credentials' Board is available to serve in all areas of ministry. Chicagoland's Ministerial Alliance is supported by free will offerings.
A person holding credentials with CMA can perform the ordinances and ceremonies (sacerdotal functions) of the Church if authorized by the Senior Pastor of the Church issuing the credential.
To apply for credentials, a Clergy Application is to be completed by all applicants desiring credentials with Chicagoland's Ministerial Alliance.
The information is confidential and to be used only by authorized personel.
Chicagoland's Ministerial Alliance gives recognition to the following classifications of ministry:
We believe in the plenary-verbal inspiration of the accepted canon of the Scriptures as originally given.
We believe in the Eternal Triune God.
We Believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His Virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe that for the salvation of the lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life and the baptism of the Holy Spirit is a separate and distinct experience subsequent to salvation, providing for life and service.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved into the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Saviour of men, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin, Mary, very God and man.
We believe Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day and personally appeared to His Disciples.
We believe in the necessity of water baptism by immersion.
We believe in the Table of the Lord, commonly called Communion or the Lord's Supper, for believers.
We believe in the reality and personality of Satan and the eternal judgment of Satan and his angles.
CLERGY
CREDENTIALS
License To Preach: Those applicants who give clear evidence of a Divine call and whose desire is to devote their lives to the preaching of the gospel.
Ordained Minister: Those applicants who give proof of their call and whose mature ministry qualifies them for a wide range of leadership responsibility in full time ministry.
I hereby apply for credentials with Chicagoland's Ministerial Alliance Fellowship.
I subscribe to the Statement of Faith and acknowledge my responsibilities to support the ministry of the Local Church.

Ordained Bishop: The Ordination of a Bishop includes the laying on of hands and the invoking of the Holy Spirit ... setting the Bishop apart for the designated ministry chosen for.
